May 1, 2022 – May 7, 2022 is National Pet Week!
National Pet Week was originally created by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) in 1981 to celebrate the pets that we share our lives with and to encourage responsible pet care year round.
From long walks around the neighborhood, to annual check-ups, to Sunday morning snuggles and making sure they are getting the nutrition they need as they grow and age, it’s our duty to give our pets the healthiest, happiest, and longest lives possible.
We encourage all pet parents to take National Pet Week as an opportunity to celebrate their furry (and not so furry) friends and to take a moment to reflect on the actions you can take to help your pet thrive.
